Helllooo! Welcome back to my blog I hope you are enjoying the new design!
I always adore photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Rachelle & Michael’s wedding, either!
The wedding was at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort, the reception was at Soaring Eagle Lodge. They danced to their first song Young Forever by Jay-Z , which was played by DJ ,Greg Sanchez a DJ that really knew how to get a crowd involved!
A few more people that helped their wedding go off without a hitch was:
Wedding Planner: Janeth Hadlock
Where Dress was Purchased: The Little White Dress Shop
Florist: Cheryl Lang at “A Unique Flower & Gift Shop”

Everything was magic about this wedding, there was a snow/ice storm. And these two were seriously the sweetest people I have ever met. My favorite moments were just seeing how much their friends love being around them!
“We were in Taos, New Mexico on a snowboarding trip with some of our close friends. When we got to the Mountain, people were telling us how it had not snowed in a month there. As we were riding the ski lift up, it started snowing pretty hard. Michael had wiped out pretty bad and hurt his knee a couple runs before this so as he got down on his knee at the top of the mountain, I thought he was in serious pain and about to fall to the ground…when he pulled out a stunning rose gold ring and said “I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, will you please marry me?” I said “YES!” as we were strapped into our snowboards with the snow falling all around us “
When I asked Rachelle what her favorite part of the wedding was, she said:
“My favorite moments were having a first look with my dad and step dad, getting ready with my girlfriends and Taytum, and definitely dancing the night away with all of the people we love the most. Also…I just really loved our food.”
You could tell they were really surrounded by family and friends who loved them.
Okay, enough talk. Let’s get to the pictures!
